Engineering Entrance , JEE Main

......Look at the Other Side.......A father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him.  To keep her busy , he tore a page on which was printed the map of the World. He tore it into tiny pieces and asked her daughter to go to her room and arrange the pieces and make the map again. He was sure that she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within mins with the perfect map....When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she replied : "oh Dad, there was a man's face on the other side of the paper.... I made the face perfect to get the map right..." She ran outside to play

I have just compiled few important points about Carbon family and these points definately will help in just rememebring few key points for revision . This material i know is not complete and is compiled from different souces but definately going to be helpful. I will go in details tommorow for all groups and definately with larger coverage of the topicCarbon Family ( C,Si,Ge, Sn and Pb)Some of my friends remember like           CaSi(kashi) GeiSan(jaisan) PavitraThe elements differ significantly from each other.  Carbon is a non-metal, silicon and germanium are semi-conductors, tin and lead are metals.
