restart doubt,...

hi guys i have a very serious problem so i request u all to help me out of this problem actually the problem is tht my computer automatically restarts every 5-10 min i dont have an UPS the people from whom we took computer themselve dont knw about the problem i think tht thier is a voltage fluctuation so do u get any link about this problem i mean what must be causing this guys please reply soon bcoz my computer will restart now.

I think you should backup all your data into some pen drive or other removable media, get an updated bootable virus scan software from the net. make a bootable cd out of it with the instructions given on the site and run a scan. if it is a virus, you should heal your computer with the software, or to be on the safer side, reformat it. when you are done, probably your pen drive etc. would also have the virus. So search on the net how to safely retrieve files from virus effected pen drive.

If it is not the voltage, admit it, there must be some virus somewhere.

check out www.ultimatebootcd.com or you can also ask the shop you took it from. they must have one.
or you can also go for avg antivirus. but you wont be able to do a boot scan. its free and i use it its good. free.avg.com

type antivirus in search box of any page(i typed in google page) there will be many antiviruses software there u can choose ny but prefer 2 choose antispyware software or www.threatfire.com remember b4 dowloading them scan them once if u can n yup dont 4get 2scan ur pendrive or cds in which u have downloaded ur whole data
