Thr period of the function f(x) = sin^4x+ cos^4x is?(please give the full solution.)
Is the answer [pi/2]?? If it is the answer, i will tell you how to solve!

f(x) = [( 1 + cos2x )^2] /4 + [( 1 - cos2x )^2] /4
Simplify it.. you will get..
f(x) = 3/4 + [cos4x]/4
The period of this function is 2[Pi]/4 =[Pi]/2
