For small displacement @ of pendulum of mass m and length ,lthe restoting torque acting on bob about point of suspension istorque = -mgsin(@) = - mgl(@) if @ is small.So restoring constant k = mglMoment of inertia (I) of bob about point of suspension = ml^2Timeperiod of pendulumT = 2*pi*sqrt(I/k) = 2*pi*sqrt(ml^2/mgl)= 2*pi*sqrt(l/g)

T= 2pi. root(l/g)
