Inorganic Chemistry
NaCl is hygroscopic in nature then why it is used as primary standard?
If I am not mistaken NaCl is not hygroscopic but the impurities present with it ie -CaSO4 (especially in commercial table salt). That is why table salt gets hydrated because of the moisture.
