In the coming era, the industry will have immense challenges concerning technology improvements. The refineries would have to exhibit the desirable characteristics of being energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly and cost-effective. Research and Development in Refining Technology will continue to be the focus area to meet these challenges. Thus, the need for experts in refinery technology and processing will increase greatly, opening an exciting career avenue. BTech in Petroleum Refining offered by RGIPT provides a unique opportunity to students to pursue a career in this area.

Admission is strictly on the basis of IIT-JEE Rank. The list of selected candidates will be put up on the RGIPT website by 15 th July.

Qualified IIT-JEE 2008
Course Fees
Semester fee: Rs.25,000/- plus Admission Fee, Hostel, Mess Establishment, Caution money etc. Total approx. Rs. 38,000 per semester. (SC/ST approx. Rs. 13,000/- per semester)
