1)In complex compounds , metal atoms acts as lewis acids and ligands acts as lewis base
2)HClO4 is the strongest while HCN is the weakest hydracid known .. CsOH is strongest base known
3)Protophilic solvents-- wich have tendency to accept proton i.e water alchohol
4)Protogenic -- wich hav tendency to produce protons
i.e glacial acetic acids
5)Differntiating solvent - wich ionises the acids and bases to diff. extents
6)Levelling effect of water -- In water all acids stronger than H3O+ appear =ally strong similarly a no. of bases behave as =ually strong in water
7)Isohydric solutions--If the conc. of common ions in da sol. of 2 electrolytes is same then on mixing them, there is no change in degree of dissociation of either electrolytes . these are called isohydric solutions
8)Ostwald dilution law is only applicable fr weak electrolytes
