time saver pack 1
Hi folks here are some short cuts that would cut short your time consumption in exams....
-----Distance moved in nth second = u + 1/2[g(2n-1)]
------Minimum velocity to clear a smooth incline of length l and inclination
=
where g is gravitational acceleration.
------For a freely falling object from height h time of free fall =
.
------Avg velocity of a particle moving with acceleration a over s meters=
------For n stair steps, each of height h and width w where u is initial velocity at 1st step the condition is
n=
------If acceleration varies with time as a = kt then after n seconds

-------If two stones are dropped from height with an interval of n seconds and the initial velocity of second stone = u m/s then the first stone will overtake the second after:
t = n(gn/2 - u)/(gn - u)
and s = gt2/2
--------If a car accelerates from rest at 'a' and then decelerates at 'b' to come at rest then max. velocity attained = (ab/a+b)t where t is the total time elapsed.
All these are common formulae to be applied in various problems to help shorten the time taken to solve the problem.
More shall come if y'all like it.
