I am going to sue VIT. They can not be allowed to go scot free with this scam and can not play with the confidence of students. I am also going to write to AICTE for cancellation of their recognition. friend wake up and write every where you can so that our borthers next year do not wate their time and enery on this scamster. they are earning by the exam fee to run their institute (?).

arre yaar VIT chor hai....paisa lata hai n everything......to us par apna time kyun waste karte ho..???jab tumhe usme jana hi nahi to tension kis baat ki...apni rank ko lekar depress hone ki baat hi nahi coz tumh pata hai ki tumne kaisa perform kiya hai......results this time r all crap....so leave it aside.......try concentrating on othr exams which u have in hand.....ussi se kuch hoga varna VIT ka to kuch hoga nahi tumhari nav(boat) doob(sink) jayegi or in othr words waat lag jayegi.....
isliye....
padhai mein dhyan lagao.....yeh sab choodo.....
aage tumhari marzi .....but still i will say apna gussa doosre exams mein dikho,,aur zaada mehnat karke,,aur aachi rank lake....
thode hi din bache hain yaar phir to mauja hi mauja ......

a friend of mine who got 890 rank in vit secured exactly 92 marks and another who got 89 marks got 2564 rank
the tie breaker is 1) maths score
2)physics
3)age( only year)
4) initial of the candidate
even a small error while marking omr is strictly rejected
these were the facts told by a chief officer of vit
my friends parents had already paid 25 laks to vit thinking their son couldnot get any seat but later as he got 890 rank they went to vit college and took bak the money
as per key i got 93 but as per due to error in omr my marks now are 86 4277 rank
my imitial is "s"
even my close friend parsineti charandeep who got 8 th rank in vit2008 iit 285+ aieee 230+ is an upper middle class candidate he didnt pay any money to get that seat
i dont reject that there has been a scam in vit but leave about it and concentrate on bitsat

Friends,
I hav an idea.
See approching newspapers,RTI or courts is a long process and practically speaking, we hav no proof for our marks.
BUT goIIT can help us for sure alongwith some of you.
See, GoIIT is quite famous site now. Everyday many new users register themselves and many more visit the homepage. Now for new users, its not easy find this thread burried so deep in the forums.
So, we can request admin sir to put this thread on the HOMEPAGE and highlight it so that it can catch attention of ppl.
The fact is that we cant do anything once we hav been alotted our ranks. VIT is not gonna change our ranks but we can atleast take a sorta revenge from VIT.
So everybody now, nudge admin sir and ask him to put this thread on homepage.
NUDGE NUDGE NUDGE. Lots of nudges. Flood his nudgebuk and ask him to do this at the earliest.
Some of you might be having our blogs, put this thread on ur blogs.
Ask Ankur Gupta to put this thread on his blog. Ankur's blog is very famous and is visited by many ppl everyday.

I m also facing dis.....priblem....a/c to times soln i had calculated 80 marks bt i hav got 50000 rank in vit.....one of my frnd was scoring 82 bt d rank displayed is 16000.....wat steps should v take for dis ghotala?????

hey guys.... i too ws depressed ...i calculated 74 marks n expected to get a rank of abt 4500 ...............
bt i got 21878 . isnt it rubbish !!!
bt yahan dekhke to samajh aa raha hai...m nt d only one caught...........aur bhi bahut hain,......
bt dis is vry vry annoying ....n hw com they play wid d emotions n expectations of d children n thr families....REALLY HOPELESS !!
