| Indian culture enters other countries and foreign cultures enter our country. It's the only way to survive in the present world. Tolerance towards other cultures is necessary. If you think that your own culture is the best, then you are racist. |

Hmm... i wud say i believe in no culture... If indian culture is wht u talk about.. you should know the brutalities meted out to women as well.. like widows and child marriage.... just follow wht is right. who cares if our culture is alive if India becomes a utter despicable place full of culture... We need unorthodox thinking and mindsets .. The traditions are good though, but again world progress is only acheived by inter mingling, which is why most countries are interested in each other's heritage - to beseech the best and leave the rest! |

I agree with u sushma12.
One day all will realize it and will come back to the tradition.
The western-people are also starting to say that "Look towards East"
They meant one and ony India which has the most enciant and still new culture.
it is our duty to preserve it

@ LAMPARD
A seventeen-year-old cannot be a politician! Maybe you've grown used to seeing Internet English. Yes, my language was a bit formal, and probably that is what made it sound like that of a politician.
And, yes, spideyunlimited is absolutely right - we're heading towards a culture-less, homogenized world. |

| I agree with Sushma. There's no doubt that our culture is loosing its glory. Protecting it is our duty.No doubt ours is the best culture so far.But there are also some good things in other cultures too,we should try to follow those. But completely ignoring our culture doesn't sound good.Take the positive points in other cultures and leave away the negative ones. That is what I think. |
