Well I don't have the full stats and our placement cell has not updated it in ages but still with the last count the total number of placements were in excess of 1100.Ofcourse we have a bigger strength but still thats not a bad number.I saw the list of the companies which you have put up there.Quite a lot companies in that list came to our college and a lot of others too.I am sorry I really don't have time for finding out all the information as I am posting all this from my office.

Theres this college called SSN in Chennai which is quite popular in the city. It has recently affiliated to anna univ. U can join there thru AU counseling. Theres 35% management quota, form for which will be available from may.
I'm not sure of the disadvantages.

hey guyz. dunno how many ppl follow THE HINDU. but it was all thr abt the placements stats.... this yr it was really bad. i mean
max was 7.4 lac
avg was 2.5
lowest 1.3 lac...
not tht gr8 considering the facts thr innumerable NITs who post a better placements result tht this,ven also u r payin sum 10 lac 4 the complete course...

nd also ... y r u guys goin after private institutes even b4 u have appeared 4 ur AIEEE xams... guys seriously government insti rocks
the infrastructure might not be as gr8 as those private ones, but its bcoz they r all so old nd reputed....

Dude come on a college doesnt become great if it is run/affiliated to the government.You cant say no to some good private engineering colleges.

well see i have got a aieee rank of 30290. i dont consider myself that bad student that i would have got such rank . i was fully deserving to get under 10k but destiny will have its own way.
but still i am goin to get admitted to manipal, which is ofcourse nowere as compared to iit, some nit, bits iits. but i & many more like me dont have options in these colleges, hence we are opting for these pvt. colleges be it manipal, vit or anywhere else. i am confident nobody wud prefer joinig manipal over nit nagpur or even nit rourkela but as we dont have a chance there so we are supporting our colleges to which we have been admitted!
but yet i wud say that its good to study as a topper in manipal than a mediocore in some nits like patna, raipur,agartala etc...
DO U ALL GUYS SUPPORT ME?
