Hey people. I left a question. Then by mistake, answered the next question in its place. This went on for about 7-8 questions. All of these were right. Now, I'm losing about 32 marks. I'm getting 227-231. Can you tell me if I have a chance of getting into an NIT? I am seriously tense now man.

well , i dunno...i'm not the expert in these sort of things.
220 above is a good score man.you'll get central counselling.
yeah man , i know how that stings when you skip a question and continue your sequence.i had experienced that in practice tests.

Thanks. Appreciate the sympathy. Now I can forget about the AIEEE! There's always Bitsat. And maybe BHU IT(got 242 on jee I think).

u know something lordhell....before the exam began..i made mistake....in entering the number..can u imagine the stress in my mind?

well,well..i have said this bfor and i am saying it again..150 is NOT going to be the cut-offs this yr..it will be around 100..that is students getting in excess of 100 will be called for central counselling..last yr,out of 540 marks 150 was cut-off for central counselling..this yr do u expect with the marks reduced by 1/3rd,the same cut-offs?definitely not!!!there are atleast 40,000 seats to be filled and for that i don't think the cut-off will be as high as 150..last yr,one boy frm my school cleared aieee with 191 marks..he got mech. engineering in nit,durgarpur...last yr,one third marks meant 180..this yr they mean 120...and last yr,children who had got 30 marks less than 1/3 rd marks were called for counselling,so i strongly expect this result this time around too..as for the people who r asking as to whether they will get into nits on the basis of their marks,let me tell u all that u r wasting ur time...i mean neither we nor the experts of goiit can predict that..whatever has happened in the paper,let it be in the past..focus on what lies ahead..if u have good marks,then u will be definitely called for counselling..just keep studying and remain focussed...

dude Raghuram, that sucks man. But dont take tension man. I did that with the IIT(kind of). If its relatively minor, it still gets accepted. Its happened plenty of times on other competitive exams. Like The scholarship exam, I totally screwed up the details and I still got the scholarship shit.! Just chill for a day and then do the cet/BITSAT man.

ull make it jee but with a rank of about 2500+. bhu is a great option.

dude , 265 is good.

note to all...if you have a score above 200 or so...don;t ask your ranks and stuff here.we're just predicting cut off and if you tell your marks without anyone asking it appears as if you are boasting...

i thnk raghuram can qualify..150 is mre than 40%..so he can vry well..bt since he's 4m AP state rank wont b gud

guys i need xpert opinion i got VIT rank 1200 that's bad i know but i am gwtting arount 310 in AIEEE so i think that's all right shud i go for VIT or wait for DCE and BITS coz i wanna give me 100% to these xaminations after making a blunder of JEE i am getting only 240 there!!!
