hey, i scored 325 in bits. should i take mech. there or go for daiict(computer-hope to make it).

BITS would be a better option cuz it's old has good faculty and awesome plcmnts , but if you are inclined towards computers DAIICT can be gud option too (provided u r ready to work hard here )
I always say nvr compromise on branch

Well , you should be able to get MSc.(Tech) Information Systems.Its course structure is pretty much like CS , Placements/Opportunities are great too.
Since its Tech and not a MSc(Hons) , you won't get a BE Dual.But thats OK , because IS is good enough.
Try talking to an IS BITSian to get a complete pic.

Is Msc ( hons) in BITS is better option than B TECH in DAIICT.

plz tell me that wouldn't a b.e(in mechanical or maybe electronics and instrumentation) better than dual. i don't know much abt. dual degrees.

I DONT KNOW ABT other IIITS ......BUT......
IIIT HYDERABAD......ROCKS...IF EVER U GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN IT...U GO .....
ITS AVG SALARY IS 6 LACS....
AND IT ROCKS...
good college
and can be compared with NITS...AND IITS(EXCEPT HYDERABAD)....
BUT one point to note....
govt coll is always better than private .....in terms of placements..

Avg in Btech CS is 5.5 and ECE is 4.8.
However , none have a max above 10lpa indicating no foreign placements(Which are $50K to $100K range)
Nevertheless , IIIT-H is good .Its placement details can be found here.

Keep in mind that IIIT-H has just CS and ECE , so its natural that it'll have a good avg.
In Private Coll. vs Govt Coll. plz exclude BITS out of it.BITS doesn't follow the pattern which you have talked about.But you are largely right.
