can u tell me about msc(tech.). do we get 2 degrees? how are placements compared to msc(hons.)?

MSc(Tech) doesn't get you a Dual.
MSc Tech Info Sys is as good as CS and MSctech Finance is also good.
But don't know about other MscTechs

The fees for BITS is 30.000 Rs semester and not 22.5K as mentioned earlier in some post....with 12000 as admission fees+hostel+mess+some other charges....

Tution Fees are 22.5K at Pilani and 25K at Goa
For both , another 6130 will be charged towards hostel advance, etc.But thats not charged every sem.
12K is the admission fees , charged once.For Dualites it will be charged again after 1st yr (Admission into another degree), or not charged if no dual is taken.
I have heard that there will be a hike , not sure.

bits 360, do students completeing Msc in bits get good placement?also let me know their package .i'm asking bcoz i've applied for info sys(Msc) .if i get it should i go for it?

Yes they do.
For MSc Tech Info Sys , students get jobs at par with CS.

CUmulative Grade Point Avg is a weighted mean of your performance in all subjects. You are given grades in every subject (A = 10, B = 8, C =6, D=4,E=2), as opposed to the percentage system in other colleges. Every subject is worth a certain number of units.
CGPA = (Add for all subjects(Units a particular subject is worth * Your Grade in that subject))/Total Units
eg.. u get A in a 3 unit course, and B in 4 unit course.. you CGPA will be (3*10+4*8)/(3+4)
