last year 75 marks fetched 9000 rank ..really cant trust vit people..
And what was your iit score last year and this year..
y are you after iptg its not so good college..

see guys manipal is any day better then vit in any aspect...
i have seen both the colleges and personally i feel that manipal is far better then vit in terms of location , climate , atmosphere within the campus , infrastructure , and managment ..
a rank below 5000 in vit can fetch you any branch in vit , if not in 1st counslling then probably in 3rd or 4th counslling ..
a rank within 5000 to 11000 can fetch you branch like mechanical and eee.
