There has actually been a mistake in checking the papers or there is a scam involved. And one gentleman here was advocating for VIT... Dude marking the wrong answers could be the case with one or at the most 2 ppl but look so many people are disappointed. And as far as the TIMES SOLUTIONS are concerned, there could have been a mistake, but i'm pretty much confident of the answers i had calculated and marked. And if i go by that, TIMES SOLUTIONS were all correct. I was expecting a score of 83 but the rank i've got is 10,421. What shyt is this ? I know a person who had just attempted of 70 marks leave aside wrong answers, and he's getting a rank of 6000. This is pure bullshyt. Such a university doesn't deserve students. They can't even check the answer-sheets properly, how can someone put his/her career at stake by giving it in their hands.
And See the person above me ie CHINNU had calculated 82 from the very same source as i had then why so much of difference in the rank. Does anyone have any explanation for it ?

even if time is wrong..
say abt 10 q's r wrong ...
score is 75...
den also y should i get 25k rank..

same here.
had calculated my marks to be 82.
the rank i got was 13826.
they should also have displayed the marks and should have been more transparent about the entire procedure-(ranking etc.).
its remarkable that the prospectus doesnt say anything about tiebreakers while calculating rank.

i checked my answers with the solutions of time institute and i was getting 80.considering last years cut off and the level of this yrs viteee i should be getting a rank of around 6000-7000.to my disappointment my rank is 10852.there's certainly some 'lafda'.

I got 75 marks but a rank 7697. 
Hav they given ranks by a lucky draw or what??????

yaar kuch to hai. i was getting 84 acc. to times sol. but i get rank in 4600-4700 and my friend was getting 81 and he got 4100-4200rank.
thank god iam not among those who getting above 90 and does not qualify even for councelling.

k. i live in chennai nd i wrote vit as well. i was gettin 82 acc to time bt i gt a rank f 34000. even i m shockd on whts goin on. i thght i m the nly one bt 2 f my odder frnds r sufferin as well.

Dont u ppl ever realise VIT is a big fraud !!!
Many of us have told in forums, rankings r not based on the marks u get. It is the amount u pay.
VIT is a big fraud n they collect money n give good ranks.
I knew this b4 from my friends n so i dint even write !
Ppl, u need to believe wat i say.

THEY ARE DEFINITE FRAUDS.....I GOT 83 ACC TO TIME SOLNS. AND THE RANK I GOT WAS 17188....DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY HAD DONE.......I KNOW NUMEROUS PEOPLE WHO ARE XTREMELY GUD AND HAVE SCORED 250+ IN IIT AND DID NOT QUALIFY FOR COUNSELLING IN VIT....NOW WAT THE HELL IS THIS....GOD KNOWS....

ANYWAYS I DONT HAVE MUCH REGRETS I HAVE DONE MY MANIPAL WELL AND I THANK GOD THAT I DID NOT QUALIFY IN VIT....ITS BASICALLY A CRAP INSTITUTE....SHOWS OFF TOO MUCH...
