perhaps sumthing like this may work as Tn is a product of successive terms of an AP, Tn can be expressed as no. of terms X arithmetic mean of first and last terms.....

okay, lemme post the soln :) Set up a variable vn by noting that un = (un (a + (n+r)b) - (a +( n-1)b))/ (r+1)b split it up into 2 parts and let vn = un(a+(n+r)b)/(r+1)b Sn = vn - vo due to telescopic summation :) Easy from here :)

k wait i am gettin some idea. i rem tryin som sum like dis n som1 in goiit came up wid a beautiful soln. koni calld it the Vn method. it is ec if u use dat method i think look for it in sprinkles posts

gokul dont blabber man :D :D if i give you tn = (x+1)(x+2)(x+3) and ask u to find Sn what will you do? Huh will u expand??? Setting this up is very easy n practical This is more elegant surely ask elasti n shrids atleast theyll agree :D :D
