@Hemant your virus is fake(at least for Linux) bcos
1) You cannot run a cmd file in linux .
2) don't you even know that there is no such thing as C:\Linux because Linux uses filesystem hierarchy like /bin, /boot, /usr, /var, /etc. /opt etc.
3)Even if you create the required shell script (sh and not cmd) no ordinary user could ruin his system(aside for his home folder) because only a root user has the power(permissions) to do so and no user of Linux is stupid enough to run his system as a root (aside for Ubuntu fanboys who pretend to know linux)
All these homebrew viruses can only impress Windoze noobs
You don't have to be at Caltech to know Linux
Here is a real challenge post a shell script which can damage my Debian Linux installation without
requiring root permissions.

thats not the point I know Linux is not an OS all i am saying is that one cannot ruin a GNU/Linux installation with shell scripts. I have never heard of even a python program which could destroy Linux. And also even if such a program is made no ordinary user can ruin his system.
Drive maps don't exist in Linux only mount points do.

Drive maps don't exist in Linux only devices like hda1 etc which can be mounted wherever you want

eg C:\ of windows could be /dev/hda3 which could be mounted at /mnt/win and so on

Assuming that you wrote that pgm as in that website by some spectacular coincidence, how did u guess out the offsets exactly as done in that website?

And that line caught you . Google plagiarism checker FTW.

BTW, you should've changed jack and 0day. You should've done a lot better.

go by your comments,

1) you miraculously have the same username (jack@0day) as that guy

2) you spectacularly predicted the offsets exactly as done by that guy ( 595, 598,600)

3) you repeat a sentence exactly as that guy did by some divine intervention

To exploit the program, generate the shellcode with the return address, and
then run the vulnerable program using the output of the shellcode generating program.

4) you dont need assembly language for doing that.

just accept it.

no point in hiding something - u did that by plagirising some book/webpage and claimed that you wrote it. you never even refered to those books/webpages in ur original post.

and dont resort to that age-old "question back that guy to pwn him" strategy
