look ... i was worried too ...but come on ... lets be practical ... i dont think worry is helping anyone is it ? and our worry is definetely not going to change anything, so we might as well go on with our preparation as we were doing till now ... look the time we spend worrying will definetely be spent more useful for studying !!
as someone rightly points out that even if there is screening, all of us are again on equal footing so if someone is deserving then the deserving will definetely get into iit .
so cheers and stop worrying and focus on your current preparation.!!!

my frend's frend's father works in iit delhis administration faculty and he has confirmed that there will be no screening
i dont take any guarantee but i m believing this this news

just relax and keep studying.
from my rlatives in there ,it has been confirmed these r only rumuors and it may be decided for 2009 but NOT FROM 2008!!!!!!for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to all , I am a FIITJian and have acquireed news from our teachers that the screening will be in Jan and the mains that is the subjective paper will be March or April. But they have asked the FIITJE admininstration and there is 80%-90% possibility os this not to happen this year for the ones who are going to sit for Jee-07. Best of luck for Jee-07 and don't worry.If you will be affected by this news also will be the others who are going to give JEE-07 , so don't think that you may not get a seat in IIT.Have the guts to face every problem. Cmon everybody cheer up ! Instead of worrying start the preparations now with double "acceleration". Don't let your confidence get "Differentiated" .......HeHe Even i am going to give JEE-07. yes i too have heard the same news and many students are also saying the very same thing and how will they finish up the course...it is going to b announced i guess..i m not sure.. but as 4 me i have still a year to go...

Don't worry about these things........no matter what the course is you will have to study and work hard. Your success will depend on your hard work and determination and not on the pattern.

hey...the post is one year old.....why unnecessary help spread the rumors and waste tour as well as others time......
in any case whatever happens will happen.... enjoy the studies...worrying about this pattern or that pattern only gobbles up time & spoils the mood
