well it is a very very bad news
but u cannot help it from helping
write now i would just say
that "IF U HAVE THE EAGERNESS TO SUCCEED (WHICH OF COURSE U HAVE) NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE"
U CAN EVEN RECOVER WITHIN ONE WEEK ...................SO MONTH IS FAR GONE
just don't loose ur heart be confident ................. thats the way to succeed
i would just say that don't think of dropping a year coz its a waste of 365 days a long duration indeed
just remember "WHERE THERES A WILL THERE IS A WAY"
WE ALL PRAY FOR UR SPEEDY RECOVERY
if this accident by chance..............there is also a possibility that u can recover soon........even in next one week......................just hope for the best

it is really sad,but dont lose hope ,we all pray that u recover soon ask authoriities to do sth fr it,dont think of dropping a yr,give ur best shot,hope u get well soon.n get into iits too. all the best!

oooohhhhhhhhhh......................i came to know about this only now.......
But nothing to worry.......BE BOLD.....leave the past........now think about what to do...........the thing u should have now is CONFIDENCE .........always think "I CAN" and "I WILL CLEAR JEE"
Don't even think of dropping yaar........never let that thought appear in ur mind.....always say
"I CAN and I WILL..........YES".....as sir said WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY..........slowly try using that hand ...... Try to give ur best w/o thinking about dropping........OK.............may god help u..........do not listen to the ones who discourage u at this moment...........TRY TO GIVE UR BEST.....thats only what I can say u now..........all the best for IIT JEE....U'll definitely make it to IIT i believe........

well it is a shocking incident he should just be an optimist and give his best and hope for the best also he can try writing without using the index finger I mean using the mid finger and the the thumb , it is not all that difficult All the best

Really shocking accident. Hey friend be tough.
One of my friends had the problem of slipped disc. He wrote a letter to the authorities and he was offered a separate room with sofa during the exam.
Here the case is serious. I would suggest you to directly call the authorities and tell them your problems and ask them if they can help you in anyway.
There is no point to think about dropping. Damage is done but not that much, you still have a chance. Instead of raising another question solve your present problem, call to the authorities.

Very unfortunate. when i got my thumb fractured it took me 4 weeks to recover.....means he may be able to write in a month. tell him strap his index and middle finger and not to move it at any cost. after a month the strap has to removed and he has to dip his fingers in hot water (with a pinch of salt and 1-2 drops of oil in it) to prevent stiffness. then he would be able to write in the exam. Dropping is a bad idea.

Hey dropping an year is a coward's act.......dont let abhijeet do it.........I m sure something can be done........
as bipin sir has suggested you shud go to the authorities and ask for some help........gud luck....

This is really bad news
Don't worry at all!
You have all GoIITians praying for a speedy recovery!
Dropping is the farthest you have to go and should not be even remotely on your cards for you..........
Just continue with your preparations and don't get demotivated at this stage

Don't let that accident defeat or overshadow u in any manner. BE BRAVE & face the situation. Go give ur exams & have that spirit within u to recover soon. I am sure if u seriously wish straight from heart to get well soon, u will urself see the diference. GET WELL SOON !!! ALL THE BEST !!!
