As said above ppl end up doing an MBA and thats where pay packets come into view...
And the reason why ppl join these companies is to gain some experience which is a prerequisite for joining an MBA course in some foreign university!!!

When somebody asks u" Can u do it?"..just reply "Yes" and get busy in ur work trying to find out how to do it!!

Yes , except Indian B-Schools(like IIMs etc.) , work exp is very imp.
Average age at US B-Schools in their MBA course is 28 yrs

It currently visits the Pilani campus.
It should start visiting the Goa Campus in a couple of placement cycles(semesters).

ruler is vry right in saying tat life isnt abt the starting salary...what i feel is tat i am enjoying my life here at the bits pilani goa campus,and i will always treasure these 4 years more than the starting salary i get..wich of corse wud be gud 2

look yaar ...
BITS is one of the good colleges....
but in terms of placements ...
excepts CSE AND eee......
IT doesnt rocks......
and believe me...
BITS avg salary is just 3.8 lacs.....
(u can check that)...( and i m talking abt pilani)
and for CSE and EEE ....its 5.5- 6 LACS.....
NOT MORE THAN THAT ....Thats because these all are office jobs not the field jobs....
so mark me....
office jobs after graduation will not fetch ui more than 6 lacs....for avg
ok
....
and talking abt IIT ....LET ME TELL U...IIT kanpur cse avg salary is not more than 6 lacs .....
bexause these are office jobs....
but IIT bombay has superb placements.....because of its superb fame.....
whereas talking of field jobs they will give u...
IIT KANPUR Metallurgy avg - 8 lacs....
ism dhanbad petroleum - avg - 10 lacs....
IT BHU /ISM MINING - 8 LACS......
so talking abt placements...
field jobs will give u....
ok...
so it depends on u...

Buddy , I don't blame yoiu for thinking this way.BITS hardly releases info.And note that 4lpa(Not 3.8) is offered , not accepted.
But listen to me.
