Put it in the indian politics way,

therefore, -ve(enemy) x -ve(enemy) = +ve(friend).

nw let me give all u guys a good solution of this problem...
let x= (a)(b) + (-b)(a) +(-a)(-b)
= a(b-b) + (-a)(-b)
= 0 + (-a)(-b)
also x=ab + (-b)(a-a)
= ab +0.
so ab = (-a)(-b)

this can be explained on the basis of iota(i) where i=(-1)^1/2

(( -ve x -ve)⁴)^1/4=(i⁴)^1/4=1^{1/4 =}1

hence resultant is positive.
