In half time period , the particle has traveled half circle in -z direction.....so now it is at the other end of the diameter as it was earlier.... so diameter = 2R

aatish after half revolution the particle wuld have coverd displ.. 2R its just like in uniform circular motion, in half the time period particle wud be exactly in the diametrically opp. point to its ini. pos sorry slip of 2 letters
