hey it is really simple
ex 1 . when body is thrown vertically upwards at highest point
its velocity is 0 but accl is g ..

ex. suppose a body is moving with constant velocity on a smooth
horizontal surface a force start acting on it in opposite direction
it will start retarding after sometime its velocity will be 0 but it will have
a acceleration in opposite direction..
