I noticed, that it is given at the back to take speed of sound as 320m/s. However, many people have sent the answers assuming c = 332m/s, and I have given full marks if their ans is right accordingly. From now on, people may calculate using the new value.

Please take note : for that sound question, I have mentioned the speed as 320m/s in the question. however, some of you have taken it as 332m/s, and I have marked you accordingly. Please don't assume any other value for the speed of sound. This is because people might say later on that they took some value of c and hence got the answer they mailed. So in case you have taken any other value for speed of sound, please change it to 320m/s, and send in the answers. (if people have sent in the answers with c=332m/s, its okay)

Regarding to qn ( 1 ) , how can u rotate a rope at const angular velocity in presence of gravitation ? Also acknowledge my mail .

I also hav doubt in ques 1.
Is it rotating with constant angular veloity or is it given intitial velocity=240rpm?

Question is clear tarin. Almost everyone have solved it too. Anyways, it is being rotated with a constant speed of 240rpm, and at some point the rope ruptures.

hey karthik i have used velocity of sound as 330m/s but i have not mentioned in the answer that i have used this value... will u mark it wrong...
