hi rohit , nice question yaar. first of all to move fast u will be riding on some vehicle. the sound waves produced by the vehicle should be striking the street lamp or the tree and would have strike back our ears. well, if u get the exact answer for this please inform me also.

air is alwayes in motion(almost).and ofcourse when we pass a nearby thing the phenomenon observed is more prominient.this supports the logic that the sound created here is cause due to disturbances produced in the medium.
i can suggest a simple experiment.
just move fastly ur hands near ur ear.
u hear both the sound and also the air making ur hair move.
let me know ur oppinion thru rates.

i think when we go with higher speed, air also move with us. when piller or anything comes in our way or to any side to us there must be a collision of air & that object, by which we get that type of sound. if this logic is wrong then let me know the right logic.

man are u talking about the whoosh sound
then the most logical way of looking for it would b the the vibrations created on collision of air particles with your body on movement must be creating that effect
