so if tertiary has very high +I effect why it is after primary ?

This is knows as hydration.

I mean primary has one good thing that it has more hydration and one bad thing that it has less +I ....similarly tertiary also has one good thing that it has more +I and one bad that it has low hydration
So how are u putting primary before tertiary.....both are having one good and one bad points.....

Its becoz, Tertiary being very bulky undergoes minimum hydration,almost negligible, whereas, primary undergoes excessive hydration.
I told U na, it is the collective result of +I and hydration.
If it was ONLY hydration, the result wud hav been- NH3>1>2>3
If it was ONLY +I, it wud hav been- 3>2>1>NH3

NCERT is a raddi buk. How can U expect it to give whole explanation. What is known as H-bonding in ncert, is actually known as hydration.
And werewolf,
Dekh bhai, ultimately it has been found by Pka values. No scientist can see what is happening inside a solution. These are just the explanations to the experimental results.

Yaar, if U say it is due to steric hindrance, it is vague explanation.
What do U mean by steric hindrance? How is it affecting it here? Kuch to explain karo.
And yeh mai explain kar chuka hoon. Steric hindrance hinders hydration.

gas phase: (CH3)3 N > (CH3)2NH > CH3NH2 > NH3
aq. soln.: (CH3)2 NH > CH3NH2 > (CH3)3N > NH3
primary and sec amines form salts in aq solutions,so they get solvated to a greater xtent than tert.
due to this solvation, electron density on N increases more than that due to +I effect.
mostly basicity depends on:
1)solvation
2)stability of cation
3)steric hindrance to some xtent
4)+I effect.
order for methyl amines is: 2>1>3
ethyl amines:2>3>1
