  halliday is a book only for dumbos.it is too slow and gives detailed explanation where it is not required.D.C.Pandey is the best book.

  this bool is very good for theory and one can clear its concepts by just reading.this is a must buy book for a better explanation to all concepts of physics while its problems are o.k

  Its text is great but please dont go for its problems, They are a lot more subjective and not meant for our competitive exams...

  FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS is a must for a jee aspiriant to clear the concepts, I personally found it very knowledgeble. But it is too slow, which is the only demerit in my opinion.

  I personally use this book and is a great fan of its authors.
it pinpoints each and every concept clearly.It aslo gives some great
problem solving tactics which r damm useful for iit and aie^3.
people try it out.. you will feel good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  For me HC Verma is no match for RHW. No man can match this author... Just wonderful, amazing and fantastic...
