class-12 marks and aptitude-test for iit entrance. what are your thoughts??

Guys, yesterday Mr. Kapil Sibbal announced that class XII board marks & an Aptitude test will be criteria to entrance into IITs very soon! Of-course JEE 2011 aspirants need to worry yet, because for them nothing changes, but it's only a matter of time when the new system kicks in. JEE 2010 might be a strong candidate for the new format!

What are your thoughts on the same. Share with us!

kapil sibal really needs to concentrate on d development of school studies rather dan on jee. i don know watz his problem dat hez constantly interfering with d jee processess

well im being fair nd after thought i hav concurred that although the current system of joint entrance exam has many flaws replacing it with board exam marks are nt only impractical bt also seriously undermines the wealth of talent entering the IITs.As mentioned above normalization of marks of various boards to be able to compare them can lead to a lot of mess as what has happened to kerala entrance exams this year.Moreover it is common knowledge that board marks are based on luck nd the examiner's mood.So Mr Sibal has to look for an alternative solution but an aptitude test suggestion is a really good idea...

From mah heart, i feel dat KApil Sibbal i taking d whole sydtem 2 a dumb____d cbse education system , in a few years, wud be like govt. skuls..no xamz..no tension..no study..nd no qualification__!!!

jo bhi karna h karo! Bus jo karo ge wo sahi sahi bata diziye ga kapil ji. Aap kuch aur kehte h aur media kuch aur. Aap koi bhi ek dession ek baar nahi le sakte h?
