@fmehta...at 6515 you will definately get into ism andin ism order of preference of branches sud bepetroleum>minning(if interested)>cs=mech=elex=electrical>mineral>enviroso i think you ll easily get in any core branch or atleast mineral for sure.

@fmehta..you may get any core branches overthere and atleast b.tech mineral engg for sure.however branches sud be opt as petro>minning(if interested)>cs=mech=elex=electrical>mineral>enviro

@tanya..sry the cutoffs for petro in ism were around 5k last year.

When will ISM Dhanbad be converted into IIT?........I'm having AIR 2815.........So i'll get whatever I want at ISM..

@transmigrator..this matter hv been raised to parliament..but polititions tk much much tym...so nothing cn be said...about changing into iit in next 4 years.

sir my rank in obc is 1303 but belong to creamy layer and i m asked to come to Kanpur for counselling. I just want 2 know whether i will get seats on basis of obc??? if not why i have been called?

@fmehta..you ll get mineral engg ,enviro engg. and very less chances to get anything in bhu except pharmetuical in bhu,b.arch (if eligible)...

@shashinyr so sry,i dont know anything about it...but still according to me,creamylayer wont be considered because most of the reserved catagory ppls are out of creamylayer and all get selected...and hv thier seats..so cheers...

i have got air 5555. I have got mineral engineering in ISM Dhanbad.(B.Tech) though i had expected much more!!! What to do now?? Will 2nd counselling this time help to get a better course and institute or is mineral good?? plz give some details abt mineral at ism and also abt second counselling

i got petroleum at ism........through jee aallotment

how is it??????and how is ism in general regarding placement,infrastructure,environment etc etc

should i go 4 it or opt for ece at mesra through eee,i got it).
