u r all wrongz..first answer the simple que. how many total possible ways to detect 2 faulty machines ? one thing 2 note that u stop ur detection as soon as u detect 2 faulty machines !!!

probability that only two tests needed is = probthat the first mach is tested fault prob that the second machine is tested is faulty if the first machine is tested fault

2/4*1/3=1/6
