Hi jesh,I'm sry for the delay in responding to you........

Please go thru this one since I spent much time in typing this out just 4 u........

Well,first of I have 2 admit the fact that I was also facing the same problem as yours........

well infact getiing a percentage of 94 in 10th still didn't prove my worth......

what I meant to say is that although I got gud marks in 10th ,I was lost in total overconfidence.And moreover many students came from state board to my college.Since their sylabbus was very not so heavy as compared to CBSE,they seemed to know less.And it further increased the heights of my overconfidence.

and finally I managed to get pass marks in my 11th.Infact the teacher gave me 35 marks just to make me pass.

then towards the begining of 12th I realised that I have to work hard......I tried to study by sacrifiing various thinhg but couldn't.......I suffered the same situation which U r facing now.......

then I noticed a fact......................whenever some of our relatives come to our home,they give so much respect to my dad and I wondering what was all this respect for????!!!!!...........

I was infact scared to talk with my dad since I got less marks and he didn't tolerate that.........Finally,I grabed my guts and asked my dad 'why others respect u so much'

Then ,he told me his story.........

When he was young ,he used to suffer a lot.Not the kind of suffereing which we r going thru but a different one.

My grandparents didn't have money to provide food for the family.....they were living in a average dwelling ...dad and his brothers and sisters  were dying to even taste ice-creams...their relatives were slightly well off and hence didn't treat my dad's family properly......there is too much to say at present by I have 2 go to school.......Well,all these things were working out in my dad's head.....In facact my grandparents coludn't suppliment the school fees for my dad which was alter all 5 Rs apart from the scholarships which my dad got....Lack of money led him to borrow cash from his relatives who mistreated him.....imagine that situation....(tears start rollin from my eyes).......and finally he managed to do his diploma.......since ,he was the first born of the family ,all his younger brothers and sisters depended on him for completing their education.....there was no one to guided my dad in which  field should he opt for continuing his educatuion since my granddad didn't know much.......To complete his diploma he used travel 18km daily on his cycle(imagine  .....18km).....Finally,he got a job in HMT and worked very hard there and proved himself there......And then he managed to go abroad and work the same way there and proved himself................................................................Being a son of such a wonderful father I fell proud that now my dad earns about 80,000 per month............HARD WORK SURELY PAYES...................

now,his relatives are not so rich as him and hence they respect him....................

during my dad's times,there was no television no much movies to concentrate upon.No any sorts of modern entertainment.My dad often says that we r gifted and I didn't realise it so deeply as I realised now...................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I started to ponder all these suffering underwent by my dad,and I made a firm decicion that I will study.......

If u make a strong decicion I notice that all other interests fade away...........

As you can notice noways I rarely surf the net................................

I don't seem to be much interested in movies..................

I don't seem to have much intereset in hair styles..........

Not much interested in looks............

only studies...................

IT PAID IT'S RESULTS

Now I can say that I'm back to my 10th std level securing 89% in my pre boards.................

Hence,my advice is to ask your parents regarding their past and know more of the suffering the underwent........

I'm sure u'll surely be benifitted from that.........

First of all start studying without wasting time and you will gain confidence by yourself...

Develop lot of imagination so that you can understand the concepts....

Listen to good music so that your mind will get good relief of the work....

u will feel a lot better if u confide with ur parents and get help from them. Remember u are not doing justice by being frank with them it might be tough but believe me it will take a lot of weight off you and u can focus bettter.

ahhhhh..............now dis is pure negativity wud say......wud simply say.....u know wat.....u are done wid many of tthings.....jee needs excelence.....its just an exam.....to face...u r getting emotional to it.....believe me ....making jee a hype....n getting emotionally attached is one of d most foolish thhings most aspirants do...m telling u ....coz i have suffered it......just study ....not for jee but for ur knowledge and for your own skills ....to be d best.......n leave d rest.......pull up d socks ...put ur fullest efforts to it........gud luck! 

Thanks a ton^infinity for all the advices.... I was not emosional abt iit . It is one of the biggest challenges... I just want to achieve it.... I was good before and i just asked to know why did i become like this.... MY motivational level is up by reading first 3 or 4 replies... I practised for JEE and neglected college...So now i am getting very less marks in both... Even i failed in  one sub(chem) for the first time in my life.so my parents lost hopes on me.NOw finals are goin.I had phy today and screwed it up.Everytime i wont like studyin before exams..Same thing happened in  10th boards but i got 91% but  i will get very less this time  for sure.. for JEE I was good in only some chaps.... and my inst goes very fast then any inst in my place... I was gud in math... but dont know phy and chem anythin.. they completed mechanics,waves,sound,heat parts for phy...and phy chem,goc,hydrocarbons,s&p blocks for chem.. I was not sure in any of these portions except org....had 2 months holidays..Now plz help me how to plan these chaps and give some studytips for readin phy and chem...thats enuff.. thank u agin for reading this....
