yup u got me right....prefer jaipur over Allahabad ...and for ECE IIIT A ...placements are good..check this out..http://placement.iiita.ac.in/mainpage.php?page=statistics..hey what abt calicut and surathkal??are u close to getting them ..for CS or ECE???

wel i dnt think so coz lst yr cutoff f surathkal was quiet high...n btn it in iiit-a n cs in nit-j wich is betr...? n wat is d diff btn it n cs..?

It in IIIT A!!! ...because CS and IT are not that different...only 4-5 courses difference...very similiar branches...so u can opt for IT if u wanted CS ...or ECE as per ur interest...its a really good option available for you!!!! u will be placed at par with CS guys ..(if u compare)

uy cab try for pec or thapar also and getting a good stream in dtu is difficult but getting nsit is possible at this rank!!!but u can be assured that mnit jaipur is open for u!!!

congrats!!! i thnk u can try for trichy for chemical, civil or metallurgy...if u want core branches look for rourkela....i strongly say no for warangal because the place is being disturbed nowadays due to telangana agitations....institue wise, its still the best....and not just north indians even the andhra people r facing a few problems out there...

NIT allahbad is a top NIT after topp 3(warangal.suratkal nd trichy),.dont miss that if u r getting that ,.,consider IIIT A nd jaipur after it

go fot NIT allahbad if can get there ,.it is 4th ranked nit nd very well sbove 5th placed NITs ,.,consider jaipur,bhopal nd iiit alahbad after it

Hey gaurav ,what is the basis of your above ranking??what proof?? any placement data..etc do u have???? Mayank ..i dont know what u do in the end but ...my advice ..dont follow these rankings ...talk to some guy from that institue and u will come to know....and for gaurav sirjee...my frnd in Mech in NIT ..says its third class institute and now recommends people from NOT coming there!!!mayank i still stand by my advice told before .....i just want to say dont believe in these rankings ......they lure many students into taking wrong decisions..!! Rest ur choice .....!!!!!!!!!!
