My dear friend Tarin, u always have listened to my advice , even in that discussion chatting idea....So , just for one more time,..........but see.....i know that there is big ghotaala in VIT results but not to get furious over it, man....Just think, 120 marks paper , no negative , 1.3 lac aspirants...what they could have done for ranking.....first agg marks, then sectional cutoff(giving more preference to one particular subject), then no. of wrong answers (poor for someone like me who solved entire paper).......Moreover, its a money-greedy inst. paid seats and etc....you know that....so why to take trouble.........
I think u will get same kinda of cutoff scheme after long legal battle with VIT..........so save energy........save the power........use power of goiit in some better way than protesting against some CRAP inst....................i hope u r getting my point??

the crappy thing abt this whole situation is nobody actualy wants to take admission in that god forsaken institute anyway but all of us r realy discouraged by our ranks nd its affectin our prep for the rest of the exams so lets all send the same mail to the editor of times of india if they recieve more than 30-40 mails regarding the same im sure they have to look into the matter

Friends,
I hav an idea.
See approching newspapers,RTI or courts is a long process and practically speaking, we hav no proof for our marks.
BUT goIIT can help us for sure alongwith some of you.
See, GoIIT is quite famous site now. Everyday many new users register themselves and many more visit the homepage. Now for new users, its not easy find this thread burried so deep in the forums.
So, we can request admin sir to put this thread on the HOMEPAGE and highlight it so that it can catch attention of ppl.
The fact is that we cant do anything once we hav been alotted our ranks. VIT is not gonna change our ranks but we can atleast take a sorta revenge from VIT.
So everybody now, nudge admin sir and ask him to put this thread on homepage.
NUDGE NUDGE NUDGE. Lots of nudges. Flood his nudgebuk and ask him to do this at the earliest.
Some of you might be having our blogs, put this thread on ur blogs.
Ask Ankur Gupta to put this thread on his blog. Ankur's blog is very famous and is visited by many ppl everyday.

Guys I can help you out with this. One of my cousins who gave VITEE got a rank of something like 29000 [unexpected]. If you want I can write abaout the VIT Scandal on my Blog . It attracts about a 100 people everyday.
Another interesting thing is that the director of Amity has an Interpol Notice against himfor fraud. We should never trust these private institiutes [xcept BITS of course] . If someone can give me a draft on what to post I could post it after some editing. If you plan to write a letter to any newspaper, count me in too.

Here, many students who wrote VITEEE this yr have posted their excpected marks and the ranks they got. VERY SHOCKING RESULTS. I think U can find enuf matter from that link to put in ur blog.
One more thing- they talk abt tie breaking and all but 2 ppl hav got same rank. Their roll no are- 37021287, 44020149. Both of them hav got the rank 7433. :O
