Also, did you just guess some questions so that you could take the bonus questions? How many did you have to guess?

Was the syllabus more or less iit syllabus in physics?

Also, were some questions in chemistry purely knowledge based?

in the brochure the syllabus doesn mention semi-cond,communication systems and surface chem...

can i stick to tht or shu tht be covered also???

Physics bonus questions were really tough.. Could get only 2 of 4.. My maths is pretty good ( :P :P), so I didn't really find it tough.. But there was one question on statistics that I missed because I hadn't studied it.
Chem was also slightly tougher.. But the questions, the bonus ones weren't really difficult, just a little harder than the rest.. Pretty doable..
I did 10 of the 12..

No questions from communication, semiconductors..
Most questions in chem were just knowledge based.. 60% I'd say..
I had to guess 4 questions so that I could take the bonus questions.. Actually make that 6.. Yes, 6 questions I had to guess.. But I got a total of 24 wrong.. So don't take me as a yardstick..

Also you misunderstood my question. Im asking whether the normal questions in chem are a bit knowledge based as i heard, like you've got to know it if you've got to answer it, i.e. without logic and baseless!

Also Statistics is restricted to CBSE syllabus right? Or are quartiles and all included?

will cbse text 11th and 12th suffice to score well in chem?????

CBSE 11th and 12th is enough for all but 3 or 4 questions.. Totally ratta vale questions chem mein kaafi the.. Like which of these ores contains silver, or what type of reaction is riemer tiemann reaction..
Stuff that is in black or white..
But even these were pretty basic.. Even if you haven't memorised evrything cover to cover, if you have a sound knowledge base you can do pretty well.. Overall really easy paper, I think even this will be really highle scoring.. Just hope I can get Elec..

dont worry as far as i know, ece cut offs shouldnt cross 370!

I don't remember about lipids and fats.. There was one question about pheromones though, and one more from Chem in everyday life.. Can't recall.. Statistics was 11th only..
