I said coulombic force is nature dependant?????
I'm shocked to read that statement.......
I admit that I don't have an answer to your first question... all I can say is that it exists because it exists.. nothing more to that...
I'd be really happy to see if you can get the answer today...
And if the people here want to say that it acts because in that way it can become more stable... I want them to answer these questions....
How can you say that when a positive , negative charge come closer, they become stable?? Why not the opposite?
Why does a system try to attain maximum stability? Who guarantees this??

Coulombic force depends on medium in which charges are kept as the coulomb's constant depends upon the medium in which the charges are kept. I will not be able to give u more information on this as my teaacher said that he will clear this part when we study permittivity of a medium.

HOW CAN U CALCULATE ELECTROSTATIC FORCE BETWEEN TWO CHARGED PARTICLES?
I WANT THAT FORMULA......
I THINK AFTER THAT U WILL UNDERSTAND.......
AND ITS A BASIC CONCEPT THAT EVERY PARTICLE ON EARTH OR UNIVERSE WANTS TO STABLISE.
I THINK U NO THAT WHY WATER FALLS FROM HIGHER HIEGHT TO LOWER HIEGHT???????????

Fine, you say every particle wants to stabilize and I say particles with similar charges repel and those with dissimilar attract.....
The question here is 'why'...... please try to understand the question before you reply....

If some one like Bladex asked why there is a coulombic force and why like charges repel and vice versa... I went on to know why particles try to attain stability.......and why is it that we say that a configuration having least PE is most stable and not the reverse..... I never said anything against the observed facts...... I was asking the ppl here to tell me the reason behind them....

on great public demand i would now give the answer..most part of it you won't understand how? but you will when you would study quantum elctrostatics...........
when likeq charqqges come closer they emit photons whose momentum is given as hV/c now these photons go and bombard the other charge exerting force hence they are repled...........
when unlike charges come closer the photons are emiited away from each other hence they move closer to one another hence attraction ......since all bodie don't emit photons the charge is the propety needed........
don't question me why photons are emited since then we would be talking of quantum mechanics whcih is very intricate at our level and high level maths is needed so wait..grow and research
