if u r getting rated for a formula which is not ur own then its not right . u know a rate is given only when a person completely agrees over ur ideas n overpower the latter in terms of thinking coz its ur ratings which essentially earns u respect in this site so here is my formula -- " be confident don't procrastinate " anyway u want one really here u go -
{ f = 3(N) - k } where f is degrees of freedom of a gas k = no of independent relations among particles i.e for monoatomic 0 ,diatomic 1, TRIATOMIC 3 N = no. of particles in system
