brilliant has been giving its services over some three decades ......

the oldest in this country and the best also .........................

every aspect of their material is nice ....................

bmat ......... then the legendray yg files............doubt letter scheme .....

and their material is also nice ....................

well ....there have been some years ........when their material has been got low quality ,............ like that of 2002 .......

otherwise ............... their correspondence is the best ......

well ..........locus .................. it is new in the market ............

but then also ...... their material on the site is fantastic ........

but as they are new guys in this market ......... it will take some years for them to come on the top .............

otherwise the locus correspondence ......... it is also no less compared to the brilliant ..............

well ...... locus correspondence surely needs some extra tests for their enrollers ...........

Such frank exposure will save a lot of us from burning our time and money in coaching brands that are more focused on increasing their admissions than servicing the ones who have joined them

FIITJEE may not have been able to update its material because it is too busy selling the courses.

The focus may have shifted from academics to marketing.

Also, the new pattern needs change and bigger organizations find it difficult to change.

Either if you get Brilliant's Material or RSM from FIITJEE , the power lies in your hand. You have to study the material all by yourself and the recommended books are always there. So if you study the materials as well as the referrence books side by side, then you can't blame any of the institutes. I am a student of Brilliant ( correspondence course for 09 ). I don't go for coaching anywhere but study on my own. I have a friend who is a student of FIITJEE correspondence . We both compare our materials.. Some topics are there that are not good in Brilliant's material but are good in FIITJEE's. On the other hand, if some are not good in FIITJEE, they are quite good in Brilliant. So whicheer material you order for, all you should have is full faith in the institute from where you are doing your course.
that is all that i have to say. :)

as per my knowledge fitjee questions are good and much tough than brilliant but the content and concepts are very good in brilliant series and the young file

even the brillian mock test series is right upto the level of iit but those of fitjee are much higher than the level of iit and they unnecessarily waste the time of students

The maths concepts are good.. But physics and chemistry are good from the brilliant's material.. Some illustrations in rsm for maths problems are good.. I understood them easily and it took me around 15 mins to understand a concept from complex numbers wheras it was easier to understand through the rsm.

Please Note:
The information that I have been mentioning is only and only according to me. Different people have different mental capacities. That is the very reason that i understand some concepts from rsm and not from brilliant material.
