allrit.....lets just end this here..........
we've come to final conclusions....
1.) hockey's in a state of free fall after mr gill tookover.....
synonymous to west indies cricket....
2.) people who say forget and dump hockey........aap log jo hit hota hai uske saath fit ho jaate ho".........have sum balls for your national sport....and at the end of the day it is OUR NATIONAL SPORT
3.) its no use worrying ash........we'll have a chance to redeem our lost glory at the commonwealth in our backyard.......
p.s - you always have choice......to choose what is right OR what is easy.......
i hope we do choose the right one..........peace

well to be genuine ................. i think football shud be given importance..in india..........there r a lot of ronaldo's in india whose skill has gone to waste.........................................now answer this
how many of you play or watch hockey................................
if u ask the same thing with football the difference wud be too high

dude u can say dat MOST of the Indians go for that sport wich is famous.....but all aint like that.....
i never loved cricket that much i love football.....anyways
its nt bout me....all ma frnz here just donnot have any interest in cricket.....
u got to say punjab was famous for their hockey players.......but now nthng is there......
they use hockeys well....
but for fighting reasons lol.....
hockey ka kuch nai ho sakta......
u knw PHL , it held in sector 42 stadium here in chd. , tickets were almost fr free bt tab bi koi nai gaya dekhne......just some fans....
the main point is.....
koi hockey ko support kare.....if anybody wants to see it growing....
jab no one wanna see it growing......den y shud 1 care???????

ye dude....i see many of ma frnz playing football so well.....even our city team went to west bengal to have some training , coz in India mainly dat region (or Goa) is knwn to play football well...
we got talents......we got fans......but still i dunno y football aint given much importance...
ya fir 1 more reason
we people aint strong....football/hockey require stamina....
it aint like cricket k 1 is bowling 1 is batting n 1 is running for the ball
other 10 players on the ground aint doing anything....
its a power game... :| :|

i'm sorry kundan, just one last point!! hockey is our natiomal game.........if hockey itself isnt getting attention..then surely football also wont!!

MY SUGGESTION :
TO MAKE THE HOCKEY MORE POPULAR THE INDIAN HOCKEY ASSOCIATION SHOULD MAKELEAGUE IN HOCKEYS SO THAT THE PLAYERS GET MORE PRACTICE AND THEIR LEVEL WIL INCREASE DUE TO THEIR INTERACTION B/W FOREIGN PLAYERS .SO CAN INDIAN HOCKEY CAN AFFORD SUCH BIG MONEYFLOODS.SO WE CAN HOPE TO HAVE IHL-INDIAN HOCKEY LEAGUE.
MATCH WILL BE OF 45 MINUTES-LIKE TWENTY-TWENTY IN ICL OR IPL-20+20======40.

surely hockey is in pathetic condition in INDIA i dont get as attention as dis game should get being our national game the main reason 4 it that at junior levels we dont get much attention as cricket gets like no tournament happens of hockey to improe dis game more attention should b given at domestic level

but ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE...........I'M A PATRIOT TO THE CORE.......
IT JUST PAINS ME TO SEE OUR NATIONAL SPORT BEING HUMILIATED AND DISGRACED.........SO I DON'T THINK I'M GONNA TAKE IT LYING DOWN........

SO U'VE GOT TO LET THEM CHOOSE YAAR.......

BUT NO MATTER WHAT......AT THE END OF THE DAY HOCKEY IS OUR NATIONALL SPORT.......AND I'M ALL GAME FOR IT....
P.S - CHEERS THAT MAHINDRA UNITED BEAT SANTOS TO RETAIN THE IFA SHIELD............EVEN OUR FOOTBALL IS IMPROVING SO WHY NOT HOCKEY......
