Hey all,
I want to have a debate sort of thing between us on this topic-
Mahatma Gandhi V/s Bhagat Singh
How many of U think that Mahatma Gandhi's share in helping India to get freedom was more than Bhagat Singh's? Or vice versa?
How many of U believe that ''ahimsa'' is the right tool to snatch our independence from foreign hands? Or do U think that Bhagat Singh's revolutionary ideas are the right tool?
PLZ share with all of us, whom wud U have chosen as ur ideal if U were present in the era of Indian Freedom struggle? And WHY??
P.S.plz dont give replies like ''both are gr8'' or ''both played an imp. role in our freedom struggle''. I agree with this but still, plz choose one who U feel wud have been ur ideal.

Suppose U R busy with ur work when someone comes and abuses you without any fault of yours. Just suppose that he is equally powerful as you and he can hit U with same intensity as U can hit him. He is continuously abusing you/using fowl language etc...
Now there are 2 ways to get rid of him-
1- Give him a punch. But as I mentioned he is as powerful as you, he will also answer U with a punch with same power. U keep hitting him, he will ALWAYS hit you back. But dont forget that ultimately it wud lead to his win becoz he became successful in his mission of troubling you and by hitting him back U acknowledged him that U were troubled by his presence.
2- Keep smiling. Dont say anything to him. Let him abuse you. He will keep abusing you for half an hour, 1 hour,2 hours but ultimately he will get tired or he will think that his abuses are not gonna bother this man, so no need to waste energy anymore. In either case, the winner is you becoz U didnt allow him to trouble you.
Now, 1 = Bhagat Singh
2 = Gandhi ji.
You = India
abuser=British
Although in this example I have assumed that we are as powerful as that abuser BUT the fact is that India was LESS powerful than Britain.
Although India had more manpower than british ppl BUT we were not united. There were partitions in the society on the basis of caste, class, religion, govt. servants(Indians who were faithful to british) etc.. And we were nothing but just small groups(each group < British) who wud have attacked independently and wud have lost.
Gandhiji knew this problem and that's why he used way-2. And dont forget that his main aim was not only independence of the country BUT also its developement.(CBSE students must have read the story ''Indigo" and must be aware of this fact).
i mean yes its highly hpothetical.....par dis is life allrit.....

and tat 2 when its ur own office he's abusing u in....
if we dont react then...we'd either be a statue....or staright outta an asylum.......

let me do some dalali for Mr. Bhagat Singh here...
1. He used the gun only once in his life, and only ever shot three bullets.
2. He threw bombs not to injure/kill or massacre but to get himself arrested(and put on trial, so the bomb),
which would give him a platform to express his ideeas.
3. He was the first person to suggest the idea of a republican and socialist india.
So why argue about who is greater?

well gandhiji was not a repesentative of britishers he was a speaker of jawaharlal nehru since gandhiji has influence on people .gandiji does wateuer nehru say n u must be aware that pakistan ko jo kashmir milna tha jo nehru ne hi dia tha jiski vagah se aaj tak kitne log apni jaan de chuke hain use sirf power chahiye thi.!!!!

besides, i think bhagat singh was young so a bit impatient, but gandhi ji always remained a spectator, he did gandhi march but bose did A LOT from japan............no one supported.. ........nehru wnted to do...........but gandhi ji denied...........i say, WE WONT HAD TO FYT SUCH LONG(WAT U CALL LONG M)IF DERE WUD HAVE BEEN A MASS REV... ARUOND 1920.
