| Summary | No other text on the market today can match the success of Halliday, Resnick and Walker's Fundamentals of Physics. This text continues to outperform the competition year after year, and the new edition will be no exception. Intended for Calculus-based Physics courses, the Sixth Edition of this extraordinary text is a major redesign of the best-selling Fifth Edition, which still maintains many of the elements that led to its enormous success. Jearl Walker adds his unique style to this edition with the addition of new problems designed to capture, and keep, students' attention. Nearly all changes are based on suggestions from instructors and students using the Fifth Edition, from reviewer comments, and from research done on the process of learning. The primary goal of this text is to provide students with a solid understanding of fundamental physics concepts, and to help them apply this conceptual understanding to quantitative problem solving. Fundamentals of Physics, 6th Edition is available in 9 Parts:

kabaad... important chapters are very low fi and uot of syllabus bantering and nonsense it too much.
I think this book is an excellent book for those who are VERY weak in physics and want to get all their concepts cleared.
But, for those who are quite good at understanding concepts of physics, I don' t think this will help much..
its a wonderful book it makes u crystal clear in all concepts but the problems are not designed for competitive exams like iit
We have lot of used books on this title. if you wish to buy please contact us 99999-86048
absolutely fun to read....givs a thorough insight into the topics....
wonderfull book i can say very good for more knowledge we cannot compare it with hc verma at all
dowload 7th ed. ebook from esnips (freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)
its the best jee book for building solid concepts and mastery in physics
after reading the book u will start to enjoy the subject more
the buk is gud in theory as well as que. but this is the basic step ...after that u can do other buks such as H.C Verma....
the new version is out wid greater no. of ques. and additional problems...it is not slow but builds ur concept welll.....
This is the best Introductory Physics book out there.
But this book was not made keeping IIT's in mind. H.C Verma was made keeping Indian competitive exams in mind.
This book is a must for all who are interested in learning the basics and want to do research later in their life.
If you are only interested in IIT's and no research later on choose H.C. Verma and not this.
I personally have both of these books and this book is the best for basics and everything.

it is the world's greatest book...
