i absolutely agree with iithopeful.he has hit the nail on its head.i dont understand the logic of some ppl who argue tat the paper was tougher just bcoz it was easier.its absolutely ridiculous!!!! those who took coaching and attempted JEE this year shud have found this years paper a piece of cake.if u can tackle a tough paper but not a easy one it means only one thing-u just have not grasped the very very basic concepts and fundas. i definitely thought those who had taken coaching wud b happy abt the paper. i myself attempted the paper without coaching and found it easy. does it mean i am a mugger of NCERT buks??ABSOLUTELY NOT. and if i get a seat in the IIT's do u have any right 2 say tat i did it bcoz i mugged NCERT buks? again. ABSOLUTELY NOT. this point made by iithopeful

'And if it was a cbse based paper as all of u say....shouldnt it have been easier for you guys......are u guys too brainy or intellectual that u can do technically challenging questions but u cant do simple(as u say) questions. cmon who are u trying to fool. THE IIT PAPER SETTERS HAVE STUCK TO THEIR AIM.'

he is absolutely right.

i dont at all understand this crap of cursing the papersetters just bcoz they made it easier.

this NCERT argument is just an xcuse 2 hide the ignorance of basic concepts.
those who give such an excuse are just SORE LOSERS.

2 years of solid work ......and if this is what we had been preparing for....i consider myself as the greatest fool.during the last few months i was making myself strong at topics like ELECTROCHEM,IONIC,BINOMIAL,CONICS,&EMI.....GOSH,didn't even find aword like pH,NERNST,ellipse...big loss for me
wasted a lot of money for materials, coaching what else
buy NCERT AND THAT WILL DO

i completely agree wid iithopeful. it's true stu. ignore the fundamentals n go 4 the harder ones.first clarify ur basic fundas then go to higher stuffs.

the fact is that ppl ignore ncert in the process of jee preparation and did not expect its questions to appear in jee.that does not mean they are idiots.we should respect their feeling and hard work.but the fact remains that they are the best analytical thinkers.though ncert gives u a through concept base even then it is not enough and does not guarantee good engineers.i am not talking abt those guys who dont mug.but for boards many do need to mug all year to have a good rank. i have met many in my class, sorry to say this that in 11th i observed that those who scored 90 or so cannot solve ncert question in the first attempt,in fact most of them memorise them form ridiculous guides like deepa notes and asian.i refer to the case of maths.plz do not attack these extremely talented ppl because they sought to attain more heights, bcoz they love the jee challenge.they just got carried away and forgot ncert.though ncert is the best book for concept building,it's is not well utilised by most ppl.

many friendz of mine scored great marks in 10 th board, but when it comes to problem in 11 th(first attempt) they are clueless.many resort to exhaustive study as very common.many friends of mine in 10 confess of solving every prob from reference books and even memorize solutions they do not understand.
