To make this thread more interesting, lets label the mysteries as EASY MEDIUM HARD the one who answers EASY-1 hat MEDIUM-3 hats HARD - 5 hats
and a recommendation from my side-- don't post mysteries directly from some site, i searched one paragraph from the mystery posted by lampard right now and found the link easily on google. u can make some intelligent changes if possible so that it cannot be searched on google.
the mystery i posted above was MEDIUM(actually it is easy but still i couldn't do it !!!)

Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.

The owls have large eyes which are fixed in their sockets and so they must turn their entire head to change view. The owl in the second painting is looking to its right without turning its head.Since this is not possible, the 2nd one is false.

You are given description about a person.Read it carefully and answer the following questions- There is a man.Small in height, dark complexion.Sun-baked skin.Expression of authority.Residence-England.Wearing ammunition boots.Walks with simple strides.Weight was a bit over average.Lighter skin on side of brow. Was mourning. Was also seen shopping.Items he shopped for were a rattle and a picture book. Deduce the following- 1)His job 2)status of job(working or retired). 3)His family at present. All your deductions need to be followed by a proper reasoning. Level-Difficult.

His job---must be a police officer.. Due to the ammunation boots and authority on his face... status of job-----must be retired cause he has sunburnt skin may be he took on a holiday after retiring... His family----single may be because his wife may have died rwcently due to mourning....

You are wrong about the job.Status of job is correct but not reason.Your answer about family is incomplete.Newayz, gud try.

Dude, your reasoning is not correct, dats y i've said no.Being authoritative dusnt always mean he is police officer.Look beyond things.Be more specific about the job. And as far as 'rattle' goes... - (onomatopoeia) a sound made by loose objects shaking or vibrating against one another
- I wish they would fix the rattle under my dashboard.
- a baby's toy designed to make sound when shaken, usually containing loose grains or pellets in a hollow container
