ok so the fact that mass is neglegible is causing the confusion first of all feynmann had written
"On the other hand consider a wheel of mass M be attached to the end of the spring . If u carry out the analysis u will find that w is indeed greater than sqrt( k/m ) "
however this is wrong,isn't it .
another thing is that answer seems to be a) according to what is being considered here,ie, mass neglegible but it seems i am wrong here also as all of you have posted b), hence i would be grateful if you put up your soln
but i posted c) purely because i thought that what was the reason for rolling to be talked about if mass is neglegible. as the question did not require the exact answer but in relative terms it confirmed that its mass should be considered as something. however i do agree that this might not be a satisfactory explanation but it was worth taking the gamble
