I could not understand how the given reason in ques 2 leads us to the answer B.
Ques 3's resonance structure I will give soon.
Ques 5 was unthinkable. A tukka only I guess.

S just helps KOH be pushing Cl thru its lone pairs. It does not take part in the reaction as such. It just helps due to the bent shape of compound due to which, Cl feels repulsion from lone pairs of S.

Only in the second compound U cud hav all those effects which stabilize it.
In the first compound there is no alpha H to hav hyperconjugation and as the first compound can rotate, the H bonding is also not very efficient which in compound 2 is very efficient as the rotation is restricted in compound 2.

3rd answer is wt tarin said when u draw the resonating structures(after placing the electrophile) in position c we + charge at N which is unstable however in B the + charge dosent come on N and the charge is more delocalised
|
