that now admission to nits will be thru AIR ( i m from delhi) if that so then wat can i xpect at top nis my air is 10079

yaar if u read my startin post even i m not sure;)
but one thing 4 sure this year is a lot diff than previous one as new iits bits hyd and now this one cant really predict nething i guess:)

my state rank is 96 in aieee from sikkim and its mentioned that i am eligible for state specific and a.i. sc/st/obc counselling .
will i get nit ?? if yes, what streams ?

sorry but my chances with 17000 are very slim i dont think ull get anything gud but do attend the counselling thats all i can say

someone pls tell me what i can get with 9805 rank.i'm extremely depressed with this decision.i'm from goa,is it my mistake that there's no nit in goa?

look at it like this ........there are abt 3000 general seats in iit and arn 400 seats in iiitand 2000 seats in bits.....so removing a total of 5400 seats we can say from this rank people will joi nits......there are about 3005 seats in nit for people from states where there are no nits.....so that takes the rank upto 8405....so at let us believe some prefer other institute and the cutoff rank goes upto10000....so @pi u should be getting one of the bottom nits

yeah!..........admission neway shud be on all india basis den.........why 50% for home nit ........we don have(uttaranchal) nit neither do goa has so....delhi ke pass toh d all famous dce hai hi !......besides.that will make dere monopoly of dere own state students in top nits as well...........
