Bansal get brilliant students so there are more selections but reso give quality of study. Past year i was in Resonance and my friend was in bansal.There was a big difference betwwen my & his concept. In bansal they stop giving notes at last time. Now u have to choose

ya maen my friend were studying there and told me that in bansal direct admissions have started and they were giving y4 batch or some lower batche in reso iam dam sure you will get admmi. and h was your bc and reso paper

I M MYSELF AN X-RESONITE(2006-07)...BATCH R5 DIS BANSAL VS. RESO SAGA IS A LONG 1.... BOTH ARE GOOD N LEVEL OF COMPETITION IS NO LESS IN ANY OF THEM... IT'S JUST SO HAPND THAT RESO HAD BAD RESULTS DIS YEAR,.... RESO HAS GOT XCELLENT FACULTY IN PHY N CHEM THOUGH MATHS CUD HAVE BEEN BETTER... THERE ARE DPP'S GIVEN EVRYDAY N BOTH RESO N BANSAL, THEY DONT DIFFER IN CONTENT....STUDY MATERIAL IS SAME 2..... CRACKING IIT-JEE IS ALL IN D MIND...U HAVE 2 B MENTALLY TOUGH N IT MATTERS NOT MUCH AS TO WHICH INSTI U JOIN... IF U CANT GET IN BANSAL 4 WHATEVA REASON...THEN DO GO 4 RESONANCE COZ THAT'S AT PAR WITH BANSAL.... GOOD LUCK FOR UR XAMS....ADIOS! RATE ME IF U LIKE .....

RESONANCE is best coaching in India. No. of selections from Bansel is more because most of brilliant students go to bansel. There is fee discount for iist iiser qualified students in RESONANCE that is 80% of fees. So I will suggest all of u to go to RESONANCE.(in past 2 years i was in kota)

I ALSO HAD SAME PROB BUT WHEN I WENT TO KOTA I GOT MIGHTY IMPRESSED BY RESONANCE. I M ALSO IN EXTD DUE TO SOME SILLY MISTAKES. BUT NOW BELEIVE ME BLINDLY AS I WAS IN SAME SITU A WEEK AGO, ALSO VISIT KOTA KI YADEIN ON ORKUT TO CONFIRM THAT RESONANCE HAS BETTER FACULATY THAN BANSAL.

I m an icse student &I secured just less than 75% in (physics + maths) class 9.can any one tell me if i can sit for bulls eye (by bansal kota) 2008.

Go for Bansal, people keep telling that Resonance has better faculty, but even if the best minds go to Bansal, without proper guidance they still cannot clear IITJEE. Besides, if only intelligence is important and not training, then why take any institution at all?? Bansal top faculty is incomparable - and those top faculty arent restricted to just the top batches.

i am STUDYING IN RESONANCE IN 12TH .....many of my friends are studying in bansal......
AS PAR AS MY EXPERIENCE SAYS , I THINK RESO IS BETTER THAN BANSAL ..... IN BANSAL THERE ARE TOO TOO TOO MUCH STUDENTS THAT A SUDENT GETS FED UP..... AVERAGE STUDENTS(THOSE EXPECTING RANK BETWEEN 2500-7000) FEEL QUITE NEGLECTED.....IN BANSAL THEIR STRESS IS ON THE TOPPERS ONLY......IN RESO THE DIFFERENCE WHICH I FIND IS THAT THEY MOTIVATE THE STUDENTS IN LOWER BATCHES TO COME AMONG THE TOP BATCHES......I MEAN AVERAGE STUDENTS BECOME PSYCHOLOGICALLY VERY WEAK AND NO ONE OVER THERE DARES TO LISTEN YOUR PROBLEMS......
MOREOVER RESO IS THE ONLY INSTITUTE WHICH OFFERS EVERYDAY DOUBT CLASSES FROM 4PM TO SEVEN PM AND A SEPARATE SET OF FACULTY FOR DOUBT CLEARANCE.........
ONLY THING LACKING IN RESO IS STRENGTH OF STUDENTS(WHICH I BELIEVE IS IS A PLUS POINT), SMALL BUIDINGS AND LESS INFRASTRUCTURE AS COMPARED TO BANSAL.........

It seems from your post that you are a winner but you are too aprehensive to accept it , First and foremost thing keep your temper cool or else your whole honest labour of two years will be affected and second have you seen the difference of marks between the students who are below 1000 rank and those who got through IIST ?? dont make IIST a stigma the IIT JEE has good number of intelligent people who knows who will fit in to engineering and science. How can possibly the small difference of marks in IIT JEE between those selected for IIT and IIST tag a student as less compotent ?? Do you think Physics/chemistry/mathematics is easier subject than engineering ?? Now lets come down to your query if you are so much interested in engineering you are absolutly correct by dropping a year. Do nt be puzzled with Resonance or bansal take up the one which will cater to your need be confident enough to find out what you were lacking in , in my opnion studying with a small group and good number of Mock test will certainly resolve your issue.
