| Summary | Hey everyone! I'm in Class 12 & I think Irodov is a very good book if you want to strengthen your physics concepts & improve your problem-solving skills ... Though the book has some really tough problems, in my opinion, a class 11 student should be able to solve most of it .. don't be discouraged, though! Even if you take a lot of time to solve the questions .. it doesn't really matter, it all helps! |

heyya..I agree with u on the fact that irodov is an excellent book..
but u cant say so that those who dont do irodov are losers..
a lot of guys i know neva touched irodov but got in the
first 500 in IIT jee.
irodov is atoddler in front of "200 problems in physics"

I don't think it deserves all this hoola-hoo when most of the doable part of the paper of iit is drawn from NCERT

Irodov is a good book...but NCERT should be very clear then only this should be tried

its a great book but you really need to refer the key for tough problems
i will recommend it after h.c.verma's concepts of physics
naidu has said such type of lengthy questions are not coming in iit.
this is the book which really test ur concepts n r u able 4 iit
greatest book but study it only after clearing all ur concepts from hc,ncert,halliday etc
very nice book for the students who prefer to do more sums,not for all
this book is an outstanding one.2solve it u need good basics
