well, after 4 years BITS goa mite hav a gud repu, but rememr, that in that tym, NITs will also improve, spl aftr All India Open seats...I m in NIT Trichy, n can guarantee that its gonna improve....I think that fr da same courses, bits Pilani is slightly bettr than NITT n goa lags behind a bit.

well there are people in Bits pilani goa campus who have left nit trichy and suratkaL ECE & EEE for CHEM & MSC courses



PLUS NOW THE NITS HAVE FIFTY% QOUTA FOR OBC SC ST



so the future of these institutes is not good



in the IITs the cutoff is 66 %(OF general cutoff) FOR SC ST AND 90 % FOR OBC(of general cutoff) so the quota doesnt have as big as an impact as it does on the NITs as there is no minimum score for the NITs                       

PEOPLE WITH NEGATIVE SCORES IN AIEEE CAN GET ADMISSION IN THE NITs THROUGH OBC\SC\ST QUOTA. DONT YOU PEOPLE THINK THIS WILL DESTROY THESE INSTITUTES

aah...seems like bits people dont hav nethin else to do...they could b find 24*7 pasting the same old posts n ol...try their level best 2 take ppl into their confidence..i cnt undrstnd why evrytym u hv 2 prove ur institute...most f d  ppl  including me .know that bits pilani is a reputed institute but man when it comes 2 BPGC..it doesnt stand newhere among top 25-30 instutes at this stage evn aftr  this rsrvation shit...n wht future r u tlkin abt ..dont u think evry othr instte ahead f it ..'ll also devlp in d future course..ok. u tk their devlpmnt as a constant to predict ur future...lol...dont ever compare it to top nits n iiits..u hv few ppl who lft 'em n joind ur instt....while in these..u ll find almost all f the studnts who left bpgc n jond 'em...!get sum life..!

'many' people have left top 3 NITS for BPGC......there is jee 1900 ranker as well who left IIT-M and none of them regret their decision

The opportunities eg. PS and the brand that BITS provides to any of its campus is unmatched by any of the NITS

so just chill!!!!!!!........................... no need to start a fight out here

Personally I would prefer BITS Goa or even Hyderabad to any NIT because:

Speed of growth

Campus life, facilities, US system, no pressure

Very good even if slightly less good

Lot of potential and much better future

ok,,, enuf of all this TOP NIT 2 BITSP GOA MIGRATION....I fully agree wid ghostrider.....u guys hav no job other than convincing others that pilani goa is the best....N we at NIT T don have guys who migrated frm BITSG 2 here...u know why?? Because nobody gud enuf 2 get a decent stream here, n who is in his right state of mind, even thinks of going 2 BITSP G in da 1st place....u take the case of 1/2 poor losers who get kicked out of NIT(T,W,S) n propagate that. Do u know, this very year, 2 of my cousins, in their BITS app form, filled all da options of BITSP n then went fr BITSP-G(I mean, BITSP Civil > BitsP-G CSE)...they got eie n mech resp n are quite happy wid it......

n ya, we had n IIT 1200 who left IITK for NITT Cse..AIR 56 in AIEEE...n he is quite happy wid it...n he did not repeat IIT(for da info)

its ok to praise your college but definitely bad mouthing others is not gud

everyone in NIT-T will obviously say it is better and evryone in BITSP-Goa will say that BITS is better.........

now about that NIT 2 BITS migration 'thingy' u surely have some wrong facts----------- I left NITT EEE for a so called lower course in goa, obviosly there will be people who left BITS-G EEE for a lower course in NITT

comparing these will not give any result...cause NITT takes admissions thru AIEEE and BITS through BITSAT: there will be lots of people who do good in one and not good in the other....

This debate seems endless! whew

Well I cant write all the good things at BITS-G here nor can u about NITT....so just let it rest

but one thing is for sure that BITS-G is growing rapidly and even after being just 4 years old people prefer it over a lot of top colleges
