we have done nothing wrong but we are penalised for being more right just because we did the mistake of thinking that a tough question could have been posted here!!

Anchit you are wrong in your concept.Sound is a wave you cant apply Newtonian mechanics to it.and sound travels with uniform speed even if you put it in a gravity field of acceleration 1000g.

well anand i agree to the fact that you look forward but still the fact is are you convinced by the answer
i am sure you will gain many supporters here for you backing up and i will be a sorry figure
still i have not been able to understand why that question was marked wrong
the logic given is that its an objective paper but is this a correct logic?

Well, in case you are still not convinced, I'll change the marking scheme for you two. It is not a problem for me, however, it is not according to the key given in the source.
